Mattering Toolkit: Creating environments where everyone matters

One fundamental need of being human, which combines our personal development, social relationships, and community engagement, is the need to feel that we matter. It includes the feeling of being valued, appreciated, and respected by those around us. When we feel like we matter, we are important not only in our own eyes but also in the eyes of the people around us. This basic human need serves as the cornerstone for our sense of self-worth and belonging and influences every aspect of our personal and communal lives.
