Michael Coley Jr., B.S.

Michamcjeditel Coley Jr. graduated cum laude from North Carolina Central University in 2013 with a B.S. in Recreation Administration. Upon returning to Philadelphia, he began work as a Summer Camp/Afterschool counselor and movement specialist at the Boys and Girls Club of South Philadelphia under the collaborative Caring People Alliance. While there he worked mainly with ages 6-13 with some children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, PTSD, and SID. Michael’s professional interests include working with youth with ASD and pursuing further research on family systems and dynamics. Michael is currently a second year Recreation Therapy graduate student at Temple University with ambition to obtain dual certification as a CTRS and Child Life Specialist. Michael recently joined the collaborative as a Recreation Therapy Intern in September 2016.
